As we are just starting up, and working on getting more activities inside the campground. There are a few things you can do around Raven and surrounding area. Whether you like to take in a bit of history, go swimming, learn about nature, or do a bit of fishing. Here are some links to find something just for you.
If you do want to bring a motorboat to take out to Gleniffer Lake, email us in advance for an extra parking spot.

Hot weather getting to you? Need to go for a refreshing swim? Gleniffer Lake is an awesome, swimmable, recreational lake reservoir. It has nice sandy beaches, boat launches and a wonderful day use area. Read More ....
There are plenty of places to fish around Ravencrest Manor Campsite, in the near by rivers. However if you are looking for a more active fishing spot, we recommend the Dickson Trout Pond just a 20 min drive from the campsite.
Unlock the past with a few historical sites. As the world ascends into a new age of technology, take a step back and enjoy a bit of history within the surrounding area or take walk through the Danish Gardens at The Danish Canadian Museum. Both not to far from the Ravencrest Manor Campsite.
If your looking for a new experince, there’s no denying the freeing power of a good gallop – horseback riding is clearly the best therapy! We recommend Amazing Horse Country just down the road from the Ravencrest Manor Campsite.

Even animals need a safe place to recover and find their barings. If your a bird watcher and like a good trail, we are close to the Medicine River Wildlife Center which has recently Permanently Closed, however the same critters travel through RcME. The Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary offers a variety of tours to the public. The purpose of their tours is to educate the public on wolfdogs and raise awareness regarding wolf conservation.
